Cards No. 7 prospect Hicks to make OD roster

The Cardinals are promoting flame-throwing right-hander Jordan Hicks to the big leagues, sources confirmed to MLB.com’s Joe Trezza on Tuesday. Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch was first to report the promotion. The club has not confirmed the move.
