Clevinger K’s 10 to stay hot as Tribe beats Sox
Mike Clevinger (10) recorded double-digit strikeouts vs. the White Sox for the second straight start, leading the Indians to a series win over the South Siders. Clevinger allowed a first-inning run on a Jose Abreu single, but he settled in to shut down Chicago over 7 2/3 innings. Cleveland scored four in the second inning, a frame capped by a two-run single from Francisco Lindor. Outside of the Indians’ big inning, Carlos Rodon was solid over 6 1/3 for the White Sox.
