Contreras’ 3 RBIs push Cubs to 6th straight win

Willson Contreras hit a go-ahead homer in the sixth and added insurance with a two-run double in the seventh to propel the Cubs to their sixth straight win. Javier Baez dazzled with a steal of home in the fourth inning on a swim move slide, and Cubs rookie David Bote hit his first MLB homer. Nicholas Castellanos and John Hicks hit solo homers for Detroit, and the Tigers almost tied the game in the seventh, but Jose Iglesias was thrown out at the plate.
