Correa, Gattis boost Astros to 11th straight W

Carlos Correa’s tying homer sparked a three-run eighth inning and Evan Gattis logged the go-ahead single to help the Astros stretch their winning streak to 11 and finish off a 10-0 road trip with a sweep of the Royals. Hunter Dozier had given Kansas City a lead with his two-run homer in the third inning, but the bullpen couldn’t hold it. Mike Moustakas was ejected by home-plate umpire John Tumpane for arguing from the dugout after he was thrown out at home and a replay review was ruled to stand. Danny Duffy was later tossed by Tumpane.
