Cubs’ Hendricks throws shortest shutout since ’12

Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks unspooled an 81-pitch four-hitter to beat the NL Central-leading Cardinals 4-0 on Friday for the fewest pitches in a shutout in the majors since 2012.
