Cubs place Butler on DL, recall Farrell
Eddie Butler’s homecoming to Colorado — the team he came up with before a February 2017 trade to the Cubs — started inauspiciously, as the right-handed pitcher went on the 10-day disabled list with a right groin strain Friday. The Cubs recalled right-hander Luke Farrell from Triple-A Iowa.
