Given out annually since 1956, when it was awarded to one pitcher for both leagues, the Cy Young Award takes center stage tonight, as the top pitcher in the American League and National League are being unveiled live. The Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw won the award for the third time in his career, this time unanimously.
