Danny Duffy placed on DL with shoulder injury
Royals left-hander Danny Duffy, who received an anti-inflammatory injection after Saturday night’s start against the Cardinals, was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Monday with a left shoulder impingement. Kansas City recalled right-hander Glenn Sparkman from Triple-A Omaha to take Duffy’s place.
