Davis’ go-ahead homer lifts O’s to win over Mets
Chris Davis’ tie-breaking, go-ahead home run lifted the Orioles to a win over the Mets on Tuesday at Camden Yards. Andrew Cashner tossed seven strong innings for the O’s, who also got homers from Tim Beckham and Adam Jones. Jason Vargas threw six solid innings in his best start of the season, but it wasn’t enough for New York in the opener of a two-game set.
