deGrom OK after scare ends stellar 9-K start
Cruising into the seventh inning Thursday during one of his best starts of the season, Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom departed when a Nick Williams liner struck him flush in the upper right arm, resulting in a right triceps contusion. X-rays taken during the game were negative.
