deGrom takes liner off upper arm, exits in 7th

Cruising into the seventh inning Thursday during one of his best starts of the season, Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom departed when a Nick Williams liner struck him flush in the upper right arm. The Mets did not immediately give word as to the severity of any injury.
