Desmond’s walk-off HR puts Rox in tie for WC

With two outs in the bottom of the ninth on Thursday, Ian Desmond hit a walk-off homer off Padres right-hander Tyler Yates to lead the Rockies to a 4-3 win and also put Colorado into a tie with the Brewers for second in the National League Wild Card race.
