Detroit Red Wings trim roster to 23, assign Ouellet, Mrazek to Grand Rapids of AHL

DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings have assigned defenceman Xavier Ouellet and goaltender Petr Mrazek to Grand Rapids of the AHL, reducing their roster to 23 before Thursday night’s season opener against the Boston Bruins.

Ouellet played 70 game…
