Every first-ballot Hall of Famer in MLB history
Among the tens of thousands of players, managers, owners, executives and other personnel that have made their marks on baseball, only a select 323 are enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. And among that elite group, 54 players have been granted an even more selective honor: being named to the Hall of Fame during their first year of eligibility. With Yankees legend Mariano Rivera almost certain to join them when the Class of 2019 is announced on Jan. 22, here’s a look at every first-ballot Hall of Famer in baseball history.
