Ex-UMass D Makar scores in NHL debut with Avs

48 hours after former-UMass sophomore Cale Makar lost in the NCAA men’s hockey national championship game, he scored a goal in Game 3 of the Colorado Avalanche’s first-round series against the Calgary Flames.
