‘Extra player’ holding up Miley-to-Boston trade

As the Winter Meetings broke up Thursday, there was no apparent movement in the reported deal between the D-backs and Red Sox involving Wade Miley. FOXSports.com reported Wednesday that an agreement was in place on a trade that would send Miley to Boston in exchange for right-handers Rubby De La Rosa and Allen Webster. There’s another player involved in the transaction, and that appears to be what is holding up the deal.
