Ferrell walks off field after liner hits his head

The quiet mood of the Tigers clubhouse after Monday’s 8-3 loss to the A’s had more to do with concern for reliever Jeff Ferrell, who was struck in the head by a Ryon Healy line drive in the eighth inning.
