Flaherty leads Cards within half-game of WC

Jack Flaherty continued his dominance of the Brewers in 2018 and led the Cardinals to a win in the series finale. The Brewers were within one run after a Jesus Aguilar two-run single in the eighth, but Jordan Lyles allowed a two-run single to Kolten Wong, which gave the Cardinals the insurance they needed. Jedd Gyorko hit his 10th home run off Freddy Peralta, who settled in for a quality start after giving up a two-run single to Marcell Ozuna in the first inning.
