For Molitor, hiring by Twins comes at right time

The timing is better for Paul Molitor. Well, if you believe folks get spooked when their manager is fresh into immortality as either a Hall of Famer or something close to one. That’s why this whole thing is about right: Instead of Molitor taking over his hometown Twins in 2002, which was four years after he ended his sterling playing career in Minnesota, he became the Twins’ manager this week.
