Franco powers Phillies past Crew for series win

Maikel Franco homered and finished with four RBIs, powering the Phillies to a series win in Milwaukee. Rhys Hoskins and Odubel Herrera also homered for Philadelphia, while starter Aaron Nola allowed a season-high four runs. The Brewers got two homers from Eric Thames, but Chase Anderson’s struggles with the home run ball continued. Thames’ second homer sparked a four-run ninth that saw Milwaukee bring the tying run to the plate, but Christian Yelich flied out to the warning track in center field to end the game.
