Game 1 dedicated to veterans, military families

Major League Baseball dedicated Game 1 of its 110th World Series to veterans and military families, and the daylong activities included a visit by Commissioner Bud Selig, U.S. military brass and Royals legend John Mayberry to the Kansas City VA Hospital Honor Annex near Kauffman Stadium just before the Giants-Royals opener.
