Gardner lifts Yankees with glove, go-ahead hit

Brett Gardner, the longest-tenured Yankee, came off the bench to deliver an RBI single, then preserved the lead with a terrific sixth-inning catch as the Yankees defeated the Rays on Monday night at Tropicana Field. Andrew McCutchen homered while Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge contributed RBI doubles as New York continues to push for home-field advantage in the AL Wild Card Game.
