Goldschmidt finishes third in NL MVP voting

Once again, D-backs first baseman Paul Goldschmidt came up just short in his bid to become the first D-backs player to win the National League’s Most Valuable Player Award, finishing third in the voting behind winner Giancarlo Stanton and runner-up Joey Votto.
