Goldschmidt to undergo MRI on ailing elbow
D-backs star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is heading to Phoenix for an MRI on his ailing right elbow. Goldschmidt was slated to be out of the lineup for a second straight day Monday in the D-backs’ series opener vs. the Dodgers. He asked to play, but manager Torey Lovullo said the team wants to take precautions.
