Hall of Fame campaign comes up just short for Allen
The announcement was straight and to the point. Despite the hard work and optimism in the campaign for Dick Allen, the Veterans Committee didn’t elect a single Golden Era player on Monday to be inducted in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
