Hall panel set for Modern Era vote Sunday
The Modern Era Committee will vote Sunday the 10 candidates who are hopeful of gaining entry into the Hall of Fame. On it: nine players whose careers spanned a good chunk of the era from 1970-87, plus the late Marvin Miller, the labor leader who put an indelible stamp on the game.
