Halos ride HRs to win in Trout’s 1,000th game

A pair of resurgent bats carried the Angels on Thursday night, as Kole Calhoun launched a go-ahead home run and Luis Valbuena homered twice in an 8-5 series-opening win over the Blue Jays at Angel Stadium.
