Hart named Braves’ president of baseball operations

John Hart was named the Braves’ president of baseball operations on Thursday, agreeing to terms on a three-year contract that will run through 2017 and will carry the Braves through their first season at SunTrust Park, which is scheduled to be ready for the 2017 season opener.
