Hauschild wins Blue Jays debut in Seattle
One week ago, Mike Hauschild was pitching for the Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies. On Monday, the Astros released him. On Thursday night, he found himself in a Blue Jays uniform and in control as he fired six scoreless innings to pick up his first career win as Toronto shut down Seattle, 7-3, at Safeco Field. The game-deciding RBIs were delivered in the seventh inning, when former Mariner Kendrys Morales barreled up a two-run homer off of Juan Nicasio.
