He’s the Man! Choi smacks walk-off HR in 9th

Ji-Man Choi’s two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth gave the Rays a 6-5 walk-off win over the Indians at Tropicana Field on Monday night. The win extended the Rays’ home winning streak to 12 games, moving them to within 7 1/2 games of idle Oakland in the American League Wild Card race. For Cleveland, it denied them a chance to move closer to clinching the American League Central crown. Indians ace Corey Kluber lasted just 1 2/3 innings before he was chased, as Jake Bauers slugged a two-run blast off the reigning AL Cy Young winner.
