HRs back Godley as AZ sends Kershaw to 0-2

On a night when their bullpen was exhausted, the D-backs got the performance they needed from Zack Godley, who outdueled Clayton Kershaw by holding the Dodgers to one run over seven innings at Chase Field. Kershaw held Arizona to solo homers by Daniel Descalso and David Peralta, but L.A.’s bats struggled to support the lefty for his second straight start to begin the season.
