Hudson’s rocky start docks Giants in race

A 5-0 loss in San Diego knocked the Giants to 3 1/2 games behind first-place Los Angeles in the NL West and narrowed their Wild Card lead to one game ahead of Pittsburgh. Tim Hudson struggled over 4 1/3 innings and the returns of Angel Pagan and Brandon Belt had no impact on the Giants’ lineup.
