Hurdle finishes second in NL MOY Award vote

Pirates skipper Clint Hurdle, the 2013 winner of the NL Manager of the Year Award, finished second to the Nationals’ Matt Williams this year in voting by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. Bruce Bochy of the Giants finished third.
