Islanders activate goalie Halak off injured reserve

New York Islanders goalie Jaroslav Halak returned to practice Sunday after being activated off injured reserve.

Halak was placed on IR on Saturday, retroactive to Dec. 20, with a lower-body injury. He is 18-6-0 with a 2.24 goals-against average…
