J.D. helps Beat the Streak leader reach 44

The dream of winning $5.6 million by selecting a Major League player to record a hit in 57 consecutive games is one day closer to becoming reality for Jimmy Dixon of Tempe, Ariz., who extended his streak in MLB.com’s Beat the Streak challenge to 44 games Tuesday.
