Jays rally past Mets with 5-run 7th and Gurriel’s HR
Just one day after being called up from Triple-A Buffalo, Gurriel was the difference in Toronto’s 8-6 victory against the Mets Tuesday night at Rogers Centre, hitting a Statcast™ projected 380-foot two-run home run, scoring Randal Grichuk — who was hit by a pitch in the at-bat prior. The home run, Gurriel’s fourth of the year, capped Toronto’s 22nd come-from-behind victory of the year.
