Kluber first to 18 wins as Tribe edges KC

Corey Kluber notched his 18th win, the most in the Major Leagues, as the Indians earned the series victory over the Royals. Kluber fanned 10 in 6 2/3 innings, and he got run support from Greg Allen (RBI single), Edwin Encarnacion (RBI forceout) and Jason Kipnis (sac fly). Kansas City starter Brad Keller dealt seven-plus frames, striking out five, but the Royals scored just once on Ryan O’Hearn’s first career triple.
