Knights clinch playoff berth in inaugural season

The Vegas Golden Knights, who entered the season with the worst odds to win the Stanley Cup (500-1), defeated the Avs 4-1 to become the first NHL team to clinch a playoff berth in its inaugural season since 1979-80.
