Maldonado, Simmons named Defensive POYs
Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons and catcher Martin Maldonado, both of whom won Rawlings Gold Gloves Awards earlier this week, picked up more fielding accolades on Friday, capturing Wilson Defensive Player of the Year Awards at their respective positions.
