Matheny can be confident in rested, ready Wainwright

Adam Wainwright is rested and ready to go in Game 1 of the NL Championship Series. He’s had a full week off since he last took the mound, in the Cardinals’ 10-9 victory over the Dodgers in the opening game of the Division Series. That gives Mike Matheny a chance to be more confident in setting up his rotation.
