Mets add Syndergaard, five others to 40-man roster

The Mets added top prospect Noah Syndergaard to the 40-man roster on Thursday, along with fellow right-handers Cory Mazzoni, Hansel Robles, Gabriel Ynoa and Akeel Morris and left-hander Jack Leathersich, protecting them from next month’s Rule 5 Draft.
