Mets grab Game 2 behind Conforto, Vargas

Jason Vargas put together an excellent start Thursday in the Mets’ 5-2 win in Game 2 of the doubleheader against the Marlins at Citi Field. Michael Conforto led the offense with three RBIs, including the go-ahead two-run double in the fifth. Marlins rookie starter Jeff Brigham lasted just 4 1/3 innings, while Miguel Rojas supplied the Miami offense with a two-run blast in the third.
