MLB, clubs collaborating on fan-conduct code
Major League Baseball is preparing to install a new league-wide fan code of conduct for the 2018 season. All 30 teams currently have their own codes of conduct in place for their respective ballparks, though the policies vary. MLB’s plan to adopt a new league-wide code would create minimum standards that would be uniform across the game, as well as consequences for violations of those standards. The code of conduct will be based in part on the current practices around the league, a source said.
