MLB Notebook: O’s, Royals follow season trends
No team had more multihomer games than the O’s, who used their power to slug past the Tigers in Game 1 of their ALDS series. While K.C. won their ALDS opener on a Mike Moustakas homer in the 11th, the Royals again showed that they could find a way to win with one or fewer long balls in a game.
