Moran’s 2nd slam of season powers Pirates

Colin Moran hit a two-out grand slam in the fifth inning to give the Pirates a lead they would not relinquish during their 7-5 win over the Padres on Sunday. It was Moran’s second slam of the season and it helped Pittsburgh take two of three in San Diego. Padres starter Tyson Ross allowed seven runs in five innings to snap his streak of stellar starts.
