No end in sight to Martinez-Boston impasse
For weeks, the Red Sox and J.D. Martinez have been at an impasse. Martinez, who hit 45 home runs a year ago, has not accepted the club’s reported five-year, $125 million offer. The Red Sox, in turn, have reportedly not altered it.
