Outfielder Martinez reportedly leaves Cuba

Cuban outfielder Julio Pablo Martinez has left his home country to sign with a Major League team, MLB.com’s Jesse Sanchez has learned. Martinez, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound 21-year-old with power and speed, has been among Cuba’s top young players.
