Padres back Kennedy in sweeping Giants

Ian Kennedy allowed two runs over 6 2/3 innings Sunday and the Padres scored four runs in the sixth inning on their way to an 8-2 victory over the Giants at Petco Park. The Padres (74-81) swept the three-game series from the Giants (84-71).
