Paxton placed on DL with left pectoral strain

The Mariners placed left-hander James Paxton on the 10-day disabled list with a strained left pectoral muscle before Friday night’s game against the Angels. Paxton exited Thursday’s 6-3 loss to the Angels with one out in the seventh inning after sustaining the injury. In a corresponding roster move, Seattle recalled right-hander Andrew Moore from Triple-A Tacoma.
