Paxton plans on 2 starts in season’s final week

James Paxton still wasn’t feeling 100 percent when he threw a 40-pitch bullpen session on Tuesday at Minute Maid Park, so he’ll have another similar workout on Friday, when the club gets to Arlington, before rejoining the rotation in Seattle during the season’s final week
